Для подготовки данного обзора был проведен анализ литературы базы PubMed за 2022–2023 годы по ключевым словам «антропометрия», «индекс массы тела». Из 643 первично отобранных источников в финальный вариант данного обзора включены 44. Использование индекса массы тела представляется экономически выгодным, актуальным и простым способом для применения в научных исследованиях, профилактической и клинической медицине и персонифицированном подходе к решению широкого спектра задач.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>This paper presents a literature review evaluating the possibilities of using anthropometry and anthropometric indices at the present stage of development of science and medicine, taking into account a personalized approach to predicting life and health indicators of various population groups. To prepare this review, an analysis of the literature of the PubMed database within 2022–2023 was carried out using the keywords “anthropometry”, “body mass index”. 44 of the 643 sources cited, were included in the final version.
